What is the action card, and how do I use it?

On Goldie’s calendar screen, you can easily use action cards to manage your appointments. An action card will appear on your calendar screen during an appointment to enable you to take multiple actions quickly. By tapping on the action card, you can:

  • Update its status (e.g., mark it as completed)
  • Rebook a client
  • Collect payments (for Pro/Team subscribers)

If you tap on the “Complete” button, the following process will be initiated: You will be able to mark the appointment as paid in cash or send a payment link to your customer.

However, you can mark the appointment as a no-show or cancel by tapping on the “Call off” button. Marking an appointment as a no-show or canceled will end in removing the event from your calendar and will appear with the attached status in your client’s appointment history.

To see more actions you can take for an appointment, you can expand the action card to a full-screen view. Action cards will remain on the calendar screen until you take action on them (e.g., by updating the status).
