How do I sync Goldie with my Google Calendar?

Syncing your Goldie and Google calendars is straightforward - simply take the following steps to connect them:

  1. Open Goldie (and ensure you are logged into your account)

  2. Go to Menu (☰) → Settings → Calendar → Sync with Google Calendar (Android) / Sync with other calendars (iOS)
    Menu Button Highlighted.PNGMenu Bar.PNGSettings Page (Basic).PNGIMG_7648.PNG

  3. Enable the Google Calendar sync, you’ll be redirected to a Google webpage. There, you’ll enter your Google account credentials (email and password) to confirm connection.

Your calendars will then sync, and events you create on one calendar will show up on all synced calendars. Note that you will only be able to edit an event through the calendar on which it was created. This means that events created through Goldie can only be edited through oldie.

Note: When you sync your calendar with Google, a sub-calendar called Goldie is created in your Google account, and appointments will appear there - but not in your primary calendar (i.e., the calendar for your Gmail address). Be sure not to change the name of the Goldie sub-calendar. Otherwise, the sync will stop working.
