How does Goldie process payments for declined or not yet accepted appointments?

Goldie allows businesses to require that all appointments be approved before bookings are confirmed if they so choose. For businesses that require such approval and that take deposits for appointments, deposits are put on hold while the appointment request is pending the business’s approval/denial. 


  • Appointments the business accepts will have their deposit payment processed upon acceptance.
  • Appointments the business rejects will not result in any deposit payment being processed (so no refund is necessary).


For any business that requires deposits to book appointments, customers must always provide payment info upon submission of their booking request.
